Outside of the Zoo, near the Entrance, is this Monument to the Skeletons of Various Animals. I did not see one there of myself.

04. The First Sight after Entering the Zoo

I do not know whether or not this Sight is Supposed to Impress everyone who Enters, or not; but, for Sure, it did not Impress me even the Slightest Bit for a Zoo. However, there were other more-Impressive Things.

05. Date Palms

The Most Impressive Thing in Guadalajara was this Date Palm Tree, which was just one of many at the Zoo. The Caretaker said that they were Edible Dates. Therefore, it got me to Thinking that perhaps Guadalajara (pronounced Gwaw-du-lu-HRR-u) could have thousands of Date Palm Trees, except that there is little Space for Planting them. In Fact, it is the single most Fruitless City that I have seen south of Northern Mexico. Indeed, these were the ONLY Fruit Trees that we seen in it, and for Various Reasons. First of all, it is a Dry Desert for most of the Year. Secondly, the People do not seem to like Fruits. Thirdly, the City is Crowded with far too many Houses, and no Space for any Gardens. And Fourthly, where would they get the Water for Watering such Trees and Gardens? So, all of that might Explain WHY the Prices of almost everything is Double that of the Blest Land of Eternal Spring! 06. The Only Banana Trees we Seen in Guadalajara

07. Flamingos at the Zoo

These Flamingos seemed to be "Eternally Confined" to their own little Island at the Zoo

08. Another Grove of Date Palm Tree

One would Naturally Think that the Visitors would become Attached to the Beauty of such Gardens, and would therefore Desire to have their own Gardens at Home; but, behold, almost none of them can Afford it! Therefore, they go to the Zoo, at a Cost of about 12$ per Person. Therefore, it Cost the 10 of us more than 120$, just to Visit this Zoo, which was more than the Cost of the Diesel to get here, and more than the Cost of Visiting the Great Pyramid of the Sun!
